Papier Mache Art

We are having a focus on cultures that make up our school community in Term 4.  One of our goals is to create a papier mache mask which will represent one or perhaps two cultures represented in our school.
We are in the early stages of adding the paper and glue layers to our balloons.  We have learnt that we need a lot of patience to do this art.  Some of the challenges we are facing are:

• some of our balloons have popped.
• we need to keep making more glue.
• we try and rip up paper every morning before school to keep up our supply.
• we are aiming to get a smooth surface on our mask.
