Last week 138 Yr 5-6 students travelled to Living Springs for their camp. Their programme involved several activities that enabled them to develop their camp goals of taking risks and developing strong teamwork skills. They will be assessing their progress this week as part of the follow up class programmes. As teachers we were thrilled with the progress students made in these areas and all teachers have noticed a growth in their class community.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the 16 wonderful parent helpers who took time away from their employment to do more work on camp to benefit our students. We couldn’t do it without your support.

Living Springs Camp, new experiences for all.
Curvy monorail perched on a steep, rocky hillside.
C-shaped track of steel
With speed like a rollercoaster.
The cart was lightning flashing down the track,
As powerful as a storm throwing you off balance
Through the power of gravity
Invisible arms, their strength pulling you to a final halt.
That looks like a fun ride. It must be quite a long ride. How do you get all the trolleys back to the top?
ReplyDeleteBy carrying them up the hill, and it is actually quite quick.
