Fantastic Forces

Our Inquiry for Term 3 is learning about forces and how they cause change around us.  Our first learning was to find out how friction, gravity, air pressure and momentum operate.  Here are some photos of us conducting experiments to learn about gravity.  We also learnt about the scientific findings of Galileo.  He discovered that if you drop objects from a height those that are different weights but the same size will hit the ground at the same time.  Objects that are different sizes will hit the ground at different times because they have different surface areas which create different amounts of air pressure on them.
