Popcorn

The Friction Reading group have been learning about using previous knowledge to help them understand texts better. They have been reading an article called "Popcorn" that explains the growing cycle of the corn plant that leads to the corn used for popping corn.  The students discussed what they already knew about popcorn, most had eaten it but not all had made it so we made some in the group to help their understanding of the text.  This short video shows the process.
