At Oaklands School today we dressed up as our favourite book characters. We had several Jacqueline Wilson characters, a robber, pirates, chickens and bananas and several characters from Harry Potter. Mrs Patten came as a pirate from Margaret Mahy's story "The Pirate's Mixed Up Voyage" and Mrs McLeod came as Roald Dahl.
At the school assembly one of our Hermione Graingers was just second best in the Year 5 and 6 team.
Well done everybody we are proud of the effort you put into dressing up today.
